I unofficially began working in real estate in the mid 1990’s as an undergraduate student in Charleston, SC. I marketed and managed four rental properties in exchange for accommodation with wealthy clientele in the historic district--one of my better negotiations.
Many years later I remodeled and sold two personal properties and loved the work so much I began to pursue real estate professionally. In-between I lived and worked in Japan as a business consultant and in the US as a social scientist and management consultant helping non-profits to operate more effectively. Real estate allows me to be creative and flexible professionally while getting to work closely with people to help them find success. It's a great fit.
